Good Tidings from Activities
Well, we have officially made it to the end of year 2021 and like the rest of the world we hope for a better 2022!! With the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year” upon us we are full of excitement and ready for all the holiday cheer. We’ll be celebrating many special days, from National Cookie Day, Santa’s Hat Day, and even a day for that terrible Mr. Grinch with many special activities for residents and staff to enjoy.
With the holidays come all the wonderful Christmas carols and music. We have some of our favorite entertainers coming along with some new entertainers as well. December 8th we will have The Greenleafton Dutch Trio. These three men are amazing to see and sound wonderful as they sing our favorite Christmas Carols. Gary Froiland is new to the building and will be here December 14th putting on a wonderful show for all to see. December 21st can’t come soon enough as we all love tapping our toes with Mr. Tim the Music Man as well as Jackie & Lois on December 22.
Christmas Eve we will have our Resident’s Holiday Party with some delicious treats and holiday drinks along with music from Cathy Hoffert. We will be busy with some holiday baking as well, and plenty of Christmas themed games and crafts. December 31st we will ring in the New Year with a special game of Bingo, some Holiday Spirits, and yummy treats. We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Merry Christmas! Filled with lots of Joy and hopes for a Happy New Year!
