October is officially the beginning of cold and flu season. Washing your hands properly is the best way to stop the spread of cold and flu germs.  Per the CDC, proper hand washing steps include wetting hands with running water, applying soap, lathering hands (all surfaces) for at least 20 seconds, rinsing hands under running water, and then drying hand. Remember to use a paper towel to turn off the water to prevent recontamination of your hands. Hand sanitizer can also be a good option. Please wash your hand or use hand sanitizer when entering the facility to help prevent outside germs from coming in. Also, please remember to postpone visits if you are ill. Flu shot consent forms have been mailed out. Please return them as soon as possible once received.
