Welcome to February,  As I write this, I already  know the groundhog saw its shadow and retreated into its den, predicting 6 more weeks of winter... 6 more weeks to enjoy the beauty of this season! Soon enough the white snow will be replaced by muddy slush that is indicative of spring.

Valentine’s Day to cardiovascular health, this month is all about hearts. February is known as “American Heart Month”, a month to bring focus on heart health. We will be wearing red on Fridays to bring awareness to the importance of our heart.  As a child I remember the excitement surrounding Jump Rope for Heart, a full day dedicated to jumping! As we age, exercise might not include the bouncing we once did, but movement is just important in our later years as it was when we were a child. Exercise and movement are good not only for the heart, but our overall well-being. Danielle (activity director) and Meagan (restorative nurse) work together to combine exercise and fun. Exercise is less work when you enjoy it! Be kind to your heart.

I have noticed a recent influx in clothing items that are not marked. This makes it difficult for laundry staff to return personal items to the correct individual. As you bring in new clothes or switch seasonal items, please take a few moments to mark the clothing.

We strive to exceed your expectations by providing 5-star quality service. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to stop by or call.
