The Holiday season has come and gone, and the cold weather has set in as well. It was a busy time. We made a lot of Christmas goodies such as pecan balls, peanut clusters and decorated cut out cookies. We enjoyed them at our tenants Christmas Party on Christmas Eve. Tim The Music Man entertained, and a visit was made by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Santa handed out the gifts to all of them. On January 31st, we rang in the New Year with Bingo, a snack plate with wine and champagne. Happy New Year 2022!!!
We have taken down our Christmas trees and decorations. We have a new entertainer coming in on January 7th. Brian Lewis-he plays 50-60’s music. We are excited to hear him. Tim The Music Man will be here again with his toe tapping music. We enjoy him every month. Since it is National Soup Month, we will be having soup tasting on January 18th. We will also be making Kind Bird Feeders for our fine feathered friends.
Chef Kevin will be doing his cooking activity on Jan. 20th and the monthly breakfast on Jan. 21st.
We have many activities planned for the month. We will try to keep busy while looking out the window at a sun dog or two. The calendar is always on our website so check it out. Everyone stay warm and healthy!!!!
