A Note From The Administrator
June has come and gone, and we are quickly welcoming the back half of 2019. In just a few days there will be fireworks filling the nighttime sky in celebration of Independence Day. I hope your summer plans are filled with family and friends.
Recently you may have noticed staff wearing a “We want to be your 5” sticker. As a facility we strive to provide quality care, a clean environment, good food, and a homelike atmosphere. We hope if given the opportunity you would rate the facility 5 out of 5 stars. If we are not meeting your expectations of a 5-star facility, we welcome immediate feedback to address the concern as quickly as possible. In the upcoming weeks you may receive a survey from BCG Research. BCG Research is an independent company conducting the survey. I ask that you take a few moments to complete the survey and return it. The insight and responses you provide let us know how we are doing. We hope to be your 5!
The Annual Block Party will be held July 10th from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. In years past the event was held on the West side of the Evans building; however, the grass and uneven ground proved difficult to maneuver wheelchairs and walkers. This year we are moving the tents and the party to the Evans Home parking lot. The change in location will provide ample space and a smooth surface. I hope you can join us for an evening of food and fun… there will be a bouncy house, music, yard games, and Sno-cones!
I would like to take a moment to welcome Jessica Larson. Jessica accepted the Director position at Cresco Assisted Living. Jessica joins our staff with long-term and acute care experience. She will be a great addition to our team. Stop in to say hello!
