Summer is upon us and people are spending more time outside in the warmth and sun.  I would like to remind all that the elderly have sensitive skin and are at higher risk for sunburn.  It is important to provide protection from the sun when you are taking your loved ones out, even on cloudy days.  In addition to sensitive skin, elderly people are at increased risk for dehydration.  It is important to offer fluids frequently on warm days.  We are ready to enjoy some time outside and we hope you have a wonderful sun filled summer!

In the month of June, we celebrate National Nursing Assistants Week the 13th- 20th. I would like to thank all of our wonderful CNA's for their hard work and dedication to Evans. We are so thankful to have you!
