Amy’s Comforting Thoughts…

Hello Everyone,

Goodbye February and hello March! The month of February disappeared far too quickly. The adage “the days are long, but the years are short”, holds more truth the older I become. As February slips away the sun shines brighter, the days grow longer, and warmer weather will soon be here! In like a lion, out like a lamb or in like a lamb, out like a lion? Only time will tell, but I will welcome the spring.

Have you ever searched for National Holidays? There seems to be a holiday for almost anything you can think of. March has several National Holidays that are worth celebrating. The first being National Employee Appreciation Day which is celebrated on March 4th. I may be biased, but I believe Evans Memorial Home and Cresco Assisted Living has been blessed with some of the most wonderful staff. The staff genuinely care for each resident and tenant. The past 2 years have been a true testament of the character and dedication the staff possess. March 9th is National Dietitian Day. We are fortunate to have Maya Nuss as part of our interdisciplinary team, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Maya comes weekly to review charts, monitor weights and nutritional status, and visit with the residents regarding dietary needs. Then there’s finally, National Doctors Day which is celebrated on March 30th. Cresco is lucky to have doctors that know patients by first name and make “house calls” to the nursing homes in our community. Dr. Maher, Dr. Jensen, and Dr. Kammerer round routinely in the facility, rotating weekly to see patients.

We strive to exceed your expectations by providing 5-star quality service. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to stop by or call.
