A Note From The Administrator
Hello Family and Friends,
The signs of fall are apparent; the bare trees, the empty fields, and the chilly nights. Mother Nature is teasing us with the warmer temperatures this week which we will enjoy as long as we can before the cold sets in. The stores are filling with holiday goods, even more of an indication winter will soon be upon us, and a new year is right around the corner. Like many, I am ready to put the year 2020 behind us. At the facility we have settled into a new normal. The residents can come to the dining room for meals, group activities have resumed, family visits are allowed in the building, and the salon is open. Of course, we are required to follow guidelines set forth by government agencies to protect the residents, staff, and visitors, but even the small things, such as a haircut, have made a significant impact on everyone.
Currently, we can offer outdoor, indoor, and compassionate care visits. The visits are based on county positivity rates that are released by CMS. The visits are scheduled for 15 minutes, are hosted in the Sunshine Room, and currently are available Monday-Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. We ask you schedule with the set hours as possible. We understand these times may not work in everyone’s schedule, in the event you are unable to visit during these hours, call the facility and we will do our best to accommodate you. To schedule use: https://calendly.com/evansmemorialhome/-visits. The link can also be found at the top of the Evans Memorial Home/ Cresco Assisted Living Facebook page. Please note individuals on quarantine and isolation are eligible only for compassionate care visits. If you need assistance with scheduling, call the facility and we will be more than happy to help.
Recently, a satisfaction survey was sent out to many of you. The survey ensures we are meeting your expectations. It is always my sincere hope we are providing “5-Star” care. The candid thoughts, insight, and responses are appreciated. If you are not able to mark a 5 in area on the survey, do not hesitate to reach out to me so corrections can be made, additionally, please do not feel as though you have to wait for a survey to provide feedback. If you have not yet completed the survey, please do so and drop it in the mail.
As always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
